Extended paper submission deadline 2 March 2026

Extended paper submission deadline March 2, 2026

regular paper submission

Authors must use an up-to-date IEEE conference paper template.

Authors are invited to submit original contributions on all EMC-related aspects within the technical areas listed above. Only full, 2-column papers of 4 to 6 pages, prepared according to the IEEE rules for style using the following template, will be peer-reviewed and checked for plagiarism using the IEEE CrossCheck portal. Papers should be uploaded in PDF-format via the conference system (www.conftool.org/emceurope2026) before February 16, 2026 March 2, 2026 .

To submit the contribution, a new account has to be registered or an existing author’s account has to be used. Final versions of accepted papers, which will be presented in oral or poster sessions at EMC Europe 2026 will be submitted for publication in the IEEE Xplore® database. The Electronic IEEE Copyright Form needs to be signed for each paper and the appropriate copyright clearance code notice should be added on the bottom of the paper’s first page. The Best Symposium Paper and Best Student paper will be selected by the International Steering Committee and awarded at the conference dinner.

Copyright note

Final versions of accepted papers, if presented in oral or poster sessions at EMC Europe 2026, will be submitted by the EMC Europe 2026 organisation for publication in the IEEE Xplore® database. Authors should submit their papers without markings. The IEEE Publishing Operations team will add the metadata to the papers before posting to IEEE Xplore®.

The Electronic IEEE Copyright Form needs to be signed for each paper. This is a copyright transfer agreement between the authors and IEEE.

Many funding organisations, including the European Union, request a CC-BY licence. To obtain such a licence, the author shall pay $400 to the IEEE, the so called Repository License Fee RLF. If you are being funded by the EU, the CC-BY licence is mandatory. It is the responsibility of the author to fill in the Electronic IEEE Copyright Form appropriately.

Remark: The authors always retains the author copyright! Therefore the author can always provide the paper Open Access, either on their own website, or in a repository at their institution. This is a fundamental right. Authors however cannot post the final, published PDF from IEEE Xplore, unless it is an open-access article.  See also https://conferences.ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org/get-published/post-your-paper/

SPECIAL SESSIONS

Special sessions focus on very specific topics and applications of interest related to the conference technical areas. A special session project must be submitted directly by email to wtss-emc-europe-2026@utwente.nl before January 12, 2026, using the template found below. Once a special session project is accepted, all papers in this session must then be submitted through the online conference system (the special session name will appear in the conference topics), and follow the same requirements and peer-review process as regular papers.

WORKSHOPS & TUTORIALS

They will also cover more advanced, topical issues in depth. Typically, each workshop or tutorial will consist of a session featuring several presentations by different speakers. Once a proposal is accepted, the workshop or tutorial organizer will be responsible for soliciting presentations, managing the review process, coordinating with speakers, ensuring all deadlines are met, liaising with the symposium's Local Committee, and moderating the session during the event. Please send the proposals to wtss-emc-europe-2026@utwente.nl before March 30, 2026.
